Greek Style Priest Vestment «Edelweiss»

Description

The ornament in the vestment resembles Edelweiss. It is a beautiful plant growing on rocks, exposed limestones and gravelly slopes in the alpine belt of mountains.Slightly curved stems form low bushes up to 25 cm high, branched at the top. The whole plant is heavily pubescent, so it has a light silver colour. The flowers are white, collected in small baskets, which in turn form small shields surrounded by decorative, grayish-silvery leaves.

This vestment is embroidered with metal threads in silver and light gold.
Fabric – brocade in silver colour.
